Super simple mix and match affordance everyday products.
Consumerism influences all aspects of people’s lives. It stimulates people to consume for the sake of keeping a capitalist economic system afloat. This eventually leads to consumers buying more than they need. By questioning the difference between needs and wants, and the reasons to create new products, this project critically looks into the role of everyday products by exploring simplicity in product design and harmonious interaction between humans, products and environments.
‘Simply Matched’ is a collection of home products that mix and match product archetypes and thoughtless interactions based on the formula:

. By redefining super simple product design formal and interaction specifications, ‘Simply Matched’ suggests a new way of creating simple products that contribute to a better human-product-environment integration for the everyday.
